Central Insulations Acquires Another Fantastic Local Business

Central Insulations have taken over ownership of fellow Grimsby based company, Lincs Doors, securing both the future of the company and the jobs of all its 7 staff. The purchase is just the start of a brand-new chapter in Lincs Doors 51-year history, as they are also relocating from their factory on the Europarc to new premises on Moody Lane. The companies have a long history of working alongside one another and have a shared ethos for quality, integrity and customer care.

Managing Director, Paul Walmsley said, “Central and Lincs Doors, alongside being long time colleagues in the industry, share the same passion and enthusiasm for excellence as the team at Central. The company has an established history for providing high quality products and exceptional levels of customer service. When I heard of Mick and Mandy’s decision to retire, I was keen to ensure that Lincs Doors continued as it always has. It is very much business as usual at Lincs Doors. We’re grateful to Mick and Mandy for all their continued help in assuring a smooth transition period for both staff and customers and wish them a very long and happy retirement.”

Central Insulations Ltd has gone from strength to strength in recent years. They celebrated thirty years in business in 2016, and completed a relocation of their own in the same year to new premises, right next door to their original office on Wilton Road Industrial Estate in Humberston.

2017 saw them triumph in two categories in the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards; the ABP Business Growth Award and the North East Lincolnshire Business Development Award.

In April this year, the two companies will be sharing a stand at the prestigious Foodex Trade Show held at the Birmingham NEC. Running from the 16-18 April, the show is expected to receive 30,000 visitors over the three day event.

“We’re delighted with the successes we’ve had over the last few years, we’re growing rapidly as a company and we’re thrilled to welcome the team from Lincs Doors on board. I’m looking forward to the next few years and seeing what more we can achieve,” said Paul.
