2020. What can we say that hasn’t already been said? It has certainly been an experience, and one that we’re sure very few would wish to repeat.

As a business, we along with much of the country locked down in March. Some staff were furloughed as construction sites shut down, and following government guidance, we closed the office, with all remaining staff working from home. Once restrictions were eased in the summer, and as soon as we were able to begin working again, all staff were brought back with the team being challenged with new working practices as we were forced to explore new ways of working as a team when physically apart.

Working predominantly within the still buoyant food industry, we’re optimistic as we enter a new year, and with the vaccine now beginning to roll out, there is real hope that normality is within reach again. While the tick of the clock over into the 1st January won’t magically cause COVID-19 to disappear, it does offer a new year full of potential for better times.

Although Christmas will be very different for most this year, particularly since the latest restrictions were brought in over the weekend, we wish you all the very best for the festive season, and we hope for a much brighter, hope-filled New Year for us all.

Please note that our office will close on Christmas Eve for the duration of the festive period, reopening to normal working hours on Monday 4th January 2021.
