Hygienic composite panel and door systems
Our progressive design management and construction team continually monitor ongoing changes and techniques within the food and drink industry to ensure regulations and requirements are observed. We offer a large range of various hygienic composite panel and door systems, engineered to enhance the efficiency of your food and drink environment.
Predominantly in the food and drink sector composite panels can be used internally and externally to form clean, hygienic production areas consisting of walls laid horizontally or vertically, external envelope and walk on ceiling panels to comply with current legislation.
We regularly work with the UK’s leading composite panel manufacturers:
Performance and thermal efficiency
Central Insulations have a wealth of experience in the construction of cold storage facilities ranging from walk in cold rooms to cold storage distribution centres down to temperatures as low as -40 degrees.
The selection of the right composite panel system along with the correct installation of all the required components is key to ensuring the long-term performance and thermal efficiency of the cold store.
Environments from 0°C to +40°C
We have a vast knowledge of the construction of temperature controlled environments, with temperatures ranging from 0 degrees to +40 degrees with many sectors being catered for, for example; food processing, sweet manufacturing, chilled storage, ripening rooms, salad and vegetable processing, dairy, bread proofing, wood kilns, snacks and beverage to name a few.
The selection of the right composite panel system along with the correct installation of all the required components is key to ensuring the long-term performance and thermal efficiency of the temperature controlled environment.
Hygienic composite panel fire resistant solutions
Central Insulations have worked with fire resistant composite panel manufacturers to design and install fire rated compartmentation walls and ceilings. Specific design and install methods are paramount to achieve the required fire rating. Should firewalls not be designed and installed to the manufacturers guidelines, the fire rating would be significantly compromised.
We can offer a range of hygienic composite panel fire resistant solutions which provide a cost effective, rapid build in comparison to traditional fire compartmentation methods and are suitable for temperatures ranging from 1degree to +50degrees.
The composite panel systems can be installed horizontally or vertically to achieve LPCB fire ratings of up to four hours for walls, and two hours for walk on ceilings. Fire protected areas provide employees with the safest possible environment in the event of a fire, allowing maximum escape time, with a minimum spread of fire and smoke.
Controlled environment construction for clean room facilities
Central Insulations Ltd have been delivering quality projects in the controlled environment construction sector for over 30 years. We can offer a range of products for non-regulated areas right through to stand alone cleanroom facilities.
We have a dedicated team who deliver the design and construction of a variety of clean room panel systems to provide a solution to meet your needs.
We are proud to be approved installers/UK partners for:
A vast range of doors available
Central Insulations have been providing door solutions to complement our composite panel installations for all sectors; Food and Drink, Cold Storage, Temperature Controlled Environments, Fire Resistant Enclosures, Clean Rooms and External Systems.
There are many factors to consider when selecting the correct door for its intended application when designing a facility of any type; size of opening, structural stability, thermal efficiency, fire resistance, frequency of use, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, security and fire strategy.
A vast range of doors are available to suit most requirements and are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C, which can be used with varied room pressure differentials.
Innovative protection systems
Mixing vehicles and pedestrians increases the risk of accidents and the movement of goods and materials involves the use of a wide range of vehicles, accounting for a large proportion of accidents in the workplace. Health and Safety statistics show that there are approximately 50 fatalities and more than 5,000 injuries linked to these activities.
Kingspan, in partnership with Central Insulations is introducing FLEXsafe Technology safety barrier systems to mitigate the risks associated with these activities. FLEXsafe is a unique high performance flexible synthetic polymer protection technology, designed to be flexible on impact and absorb force that is gradually stopped without creating damage.
